Federico Fuchs
Managing Partner
Experienced entrepreneur, investor and executive. Co-founder, former Board Member and CFO of Despegar.com (recently listed in the NYSE: DESP), one the most successful start-ups in Latin America with over three billion dollars in annual gross sales and close to 2800 employees.
Federico was responsible for structuring Despegar's funding rounds that totaled in excess of US$ 35 Million and allowed the company to thrive. In addition, he negotiated the acquisition of its main competitor at the time, led strategic planning and managed the relationship with investors in the first stages of the company.
Currently, Mr. Fuchs is actively involved and holds equity investments in several privately owned companies: San Isidro (leading processor and exporter of premium food in Chile), Pesantar (leading seafood company in Argentina), and Los Angeles (agrobusiness company in Argentina) amongst others. He also invests and advises third parties in real estate, debt and venture capital opportunities across Latin America.
Previously, Federico had extensive experience working with top-tier multinational companies in the US, Latin America and Europe, having been responsible for P&Ls in excess of US$ 300 Million.
Mr. Fuchs received an MBA from MIT Sloan and graduated Magna Cum Laude in Economics from Universidad de San Andres in Argentina.
